Traditional kitchen

Zuidas penthouse – Gustav Mahler

Design your kitchen at the Zuidas Amsterdam? This is the only place in Amsterdam where living, offices and skyscrapers come together. The area is in development and more restaurants and apartment buildings are currently under construction. Our client commissioned us to make and design their kitchen in one of the penthouses on the top floor. A majority of the people would choose for a modern kitchen. Our client opted for a traditional kitchen and an eclectic interior.

So we were faced with a super modern apartment and we needed to integrate a luxurious traditional kitchen. Well in the end it was the perfect combination. The kitchen is classic with panel doors and profiles but because of the light colors, simple profiles and nice designed lay it has a contemporary touch. The steel doors in the entry make the outlook even more balanced. Steel is very contemporary but gives warmth in the same time. The bespoke kitchen integrates with a nice ensuite room divider that is the passage to the big living room. Because of the bespoke design we had all the chances to design this perfect. The chest or wall cabinet is big and also designed in the same style and color as the rest of the kitchen. Here it is a classic showcase with loads of glass doors. We chose for a frees standing oven of Bertazzoni and a countertop from Cosentino Silestone with a nice imitation marble.

It became a nice and warm bespoke designed kitchen. Luxuruous and classic. Symmetric and a challenging design in a big spacious modern Amsterdam penthouse.
